  • Burns and scalds
  • Chest pains (including heart attack)
  • Choking (adult)
  • Eye injuries
  • Head injuries
  • Health and safety (first aid) regulations
  • Low blood sugar
  • Poisoning
  • Resuscitation (adult CPR)
  • Seizures (adult)
  • Severe allergic reaction
  • Shock
  • Spinal injuries
  • Stroke
  • Unconscious casualty
  • Fainting

A multiple choice question paper will be given at the end of the course. After successful completion of both the course and the question paper candidates will be provided with a Qualsafe Level 3 certificate in first aid at work that will be valid for three years.
