To supplement not just Abrasive Wheels use but to discharge your legal responsibilities under the Health and Safety At Work Act and PPE Regulations We can carry out fit testing on respiratory protection that you use in your workplace.
NB Whilst We can carry out fit testing on disposable face masks this is not recommended. As a minimum it is recommended that employers provide a half mask with the applicable filters dependant on your environment and the hazardous substances you come into contact with. EG Silica dust, Asphalts.
Each Fit test will take approximately 15 minutes after a short presentation on the risks associated with hazardous substances and the suitable control measures that should be adopted. This can be incorporated into the Abrasive Wheels awareness course.
